Deal and Kennedy Corporate Cultures

The review of the model is based on book “Corporate Cultures; The Rites and Rituals of Corporate Life” published in 1982. The model consists of four dominant forms of culture. Each of these cultural types has different types of heroes, rituals and ceremonies, and their strengths and weaknesses are also different. The model can help you understand the different cultures and motivate your employeer’s according to the values of the organisation.

 

Dr. Terry Deal is the founder of the Terrence E. Deal Leadership Institute at the University of La Verne. Dr. Deal is a renowned leadership expert, author, and international consultant having taught organization and leadership courses at Stanford, Harvard, Vanderbilt, and the University of Southern California.

 

Allan A. Kennedy is a Boston- and London based management consultant and writer. Kennedy consults a wide variety of organizations in the United States and Europe. He was formerly the president of a microcomputer software company and a partner of several major consulting firms
